Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the dentist during patient examinations and procedures, help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, and contribute to a positive patient experience from check-in to follow-up. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, restorations, crowns, extractions, and other dental procedures
- Fabricate, adjust, finish, and cement provisional restorations
- Take digital radiographs in accordance with state regulations
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment using proper infection control procedures
- Update and maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and e-charts
- Provide patients with instructions for oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Seat, prepare, and comfort patients before and during appointments
- Perform coronal polish on patients as needed
- Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety standards
- Support front office or scheduling tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or license, as required by state law
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray, coronal polish certification as required by state regulations
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software Eaglesoft, and electronic charting systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Work well with other assistants and staff members
Preferred Skills
- Experience assisting with a wide range of general dental procedures
- Strong patient service mindset
- Ability to multitask and adapt throughout the day
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
Work Environment

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
