We are looking for a motivated and friendly Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with chairside procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Set up and break down operatories between patients
- Support a positive and efficient workflow within the dental team
- Operate advanced dental technology including 3D scanners and other medical imaging devices to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Skills
- Proficiency with OpenDental for managing patient records efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Experience with chairside assisting across various specialties including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Skilled in taking high-quality X-rays while maintaining patient safety standards.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ability to operate advanced dental equipment like 3D scanners and medical imaging devices confidently.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about treatment procedures and oral health habits.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of all medical records and documentation.
