Our privately owned boutique dental practice is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly personable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team.

Schedule

  • 3 Clinical Days
  • 1 Administrative Day
  • We have excellent office hours, clinical hours are 9-3
  • Our team works 8-4 and no weekends
  • We alternate between M-W and W-F
  • Over the Summer it will be 4 clinical days with an opportunity to take up to a week off each month due to doctors schedule.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience to provide exceptional chairside support while helping create a warm, upbeat, and welcoming patient experience. Our office values teamwork, professionalism, efficiency, and genuine patient relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
  • Deliver outstanding chairside support using efficient four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Build strong rapport with patients and create a comfortable, positive experience from start to finish
  • Maintain excellent time management throughout the day to keep the schedule running smoothly and efficiently
  • Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA and infection control standards
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain proper aseptic techniques
  • Take digital radiographs, digital scans and intraoral images
  • Accurately update patient charts and treatment notes using Open Dental software
  • Review medical histories and record vital signs when necessary
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment recommendations
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities including scheduling coordination, patient communication, and maintaining smooth patient flow
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on dental assisting experience
  • Experience using Open Dental software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional multitasking and time management abilities
  • Friendly, outgoing, and confident personality with the ability to engage patients easily
  • Experience with digital radiography and modern dental technology
  • Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Cosmetic or comprehensive dentistry experience is a plus
