Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (DA-II) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control standards are maintained, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care.

Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, implants.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines
- Manage patient records utilizing Denticon or any other dental patient management system to ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures
- Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding to facilitate effective communication within the team and with patients
- Keep the office clean as needed to ensure patients are comfortable and office is clean.
Requirements
- Valid DA-II certification or equivalent registration with current licensure to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant II
- Proven experience of assisting patients in a dental clinic setting for all kinds of procedures like fillings, extractions, implants .
- Able to take alginate impressions.
- Strong familiarity with EMR systems such as Denticon or any other dental patient management system medical records and documentation
- Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety protocols
- Excellent understanding of dental terminology relevant to dentistry
- Skilled in using dental equipment including 3D scanners, and other clinical devices
