Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, infection control protocols, and effective communication skills to ensure a smooth workflow within the office.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform tasks such as taking dental X-rays, preparing dental materials, and managing patient records.
• Document medical histories and maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with practice standards.
• Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and processing billing.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Operate 3D scanners as needed for specific procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging.

Experience

• Previous 1 year experience in dental assisting is preferred
• Familiarity with infection control standards and medical terminology is essential.
• Experience with dental software systems like Eaglesoft is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D scanning technology is advantageous but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
