Registered Dental Assistant - Orthodontics

Hours vary by week (3 day clinical; 24-32 hours per week):

Monday: 8:30AM-5PM, Tuesday: 8:30AM-5PM, Wednesday: 8AM-5PM, Thursday: 9AM-5:30PM (Fridays off!)

One Saturday every 6 weeks (8:30AM-1:00PM)

Job Description:

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Orthodontic Assistant (DA/RDA) to join our team! You’ll support the orthodontist in delivering excellent patient care, keeping patients comfortable, and helping the day run smoothly. Experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, answer patient questions and maintain a fun work environment.
• Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and treatments.
• Assist Dr. Nguyen during procedures with both braces and Invisalign
• Take photographs, Pano/Ceph X-rays and digital iTero scans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Record patient information and chart updates in the system.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus, but willing to train the right person.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with dental software and technology (OrthoTrac is a plus!).

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
