Summary
Green Tree Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing private practice in Mountain Lakes, NJ. We specialize in pediatric dental care and are committed to creating a positive, welcoming environment for children and families.
In this role, you will be a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care by supporting the dentist during procedures and helping ensure smooth, efficient clinic operations. Your attention to detail, positive attitude, and teamwork will help create an experience where young patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
  • Accurately record medical history
  • Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before procedures
  • Take dental X-rays in compliance with state regulations (X-ray certification required)
  • Assist dentist during procedures and exams
  • Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and answering patient inquiries professionally
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy and confidentiality


Qualifications
  • Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
  • Previous experience as a pediatric dental assistant
  • New Jersy X-ray certification (Required)
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, Experience with cloud-based dental software
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care
