Job Overview

We are actively hiring an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to provide dental services in a correctional healthcare setting in Blythe, California. This is an urgent requirement with a quick start opportunity for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Perform additional dental-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 months of continuous experience within the last 24 months (internships do not count)
• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of California Dental Practice Act (Sections 1740–1777)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
