Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners. Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
  • Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in medical documentation.
  • Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging or assessments as needed for pediatric or medically compromised patients.
  • Maintain a clean and aseptic environment by following infection control protocols and proper sterilization procedures.
  • Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing patient flow smoothly.
  • Utilize knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding to accurately document procedures and diagnoses.
  • Operate advanced equipment such as 3D scanners when required for comprehensive diagnostics or treatment planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and dental assisting procedures.
  • Knowledge of dental radiography including X-ray techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with medical imaging when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
