Registered Dental Hygienist

**Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and maintaining high-quality dental hygiene services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **Duties** - Conduct thorough dental examinations, including intraoral and extraoral inspections, to assess patients' oral health and identify any potential issues. - Clean and polish teeth to prevent plaque and tartar buildup and promote healthy gums. - Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and recommendations for maintaining good oral health. - Assist in the administration of anesthesia and sedatives as needed. - Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure effective and efficient treatment. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress. - Use medical imaging and dental software, Dexis and Dentrix, to capture and analyze patient data. - Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies. **Requirements** - A degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution. - Current licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in the state where the position is located. - Experience in pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and the ability to apply this knowledge in the workplace. - Proficiency in medical coding and the ability to apply this knowledge to patient records. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods. - The ideal candidate will also have experience with dental assisting and medical imaging. Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
