Dental Hygienist needed for Thursdays 9:45-4pm

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure smooth workflow.
- Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
- Monitor and document patient responses during treatment, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures. Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for charting and documentation review.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly preferred, with knowledge of pediatric-specific procedures.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, medical coding, and medical terminology is advantageous.

Pay: $47.66 - $57.39 per hour
