Full-Time Bilingual Dental Hygienist (Monday–Thursday)

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience (required)
• Active Florida Dental Hygienist License (required)
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• CPR Certification (required)
• Excellent knowledge of preventive dentistry and periodontal therapy
• Experience taking digital radiographs and intraoral photographs
• Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene examinations and periodontal assessments
• Provide preventive dental cleanings for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform scaling and root planing (SRP) and periodontal maintenance
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and periodontal health
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants when indicated
• Assist the doctor in identifying and documenting treatment needs
• Accurately chart clinical findings and maintain complete patient records
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols
• Build trusting relationships with patients through compassionate, personalized care
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Active Florida Dental Hygienist License
• Minimum 2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dentistry
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Detail-oriented with outstanding clinical documentation
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence
