Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Dietitian to join our team. The role involves assessing patients’ nutritional requirements, planning individualized diet charts, providing dietary counseling, and coordinating with doctors and nursing teams to ensure proper nutritional care for both OPD and IPD patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess nutritional needs of patients based on medical history, diagnosis, and treatment plan.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized diet plans for patients.
- Provide nutritional counseling to patients, attendants, and staff when required.
- Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff to plan appropriate diet modifications.
- Supervise meal preparation and ensure adherence to prescribed diet charts.
- Maintain accurate patient dietary records and report progress to medical teams.
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits and post-discharge diet management.
- Participate in hospital quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of clinical/hospital dietetics experience preferred (freshers with strong academic background may also apply).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Proficiency in maintaining diet records and reporting.
