Registered Nurse

Qualifications Required: Nursing Degree, orthopaedic nursing experience preffered but not mandatory – post-operative care with sound knowledge of wound care, injury and rehabilitation, minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role within the UAE.

Capabilities Requires: Attend to patients, both in person and on the phone, in a prompt and professional manner, delivering highest quality patient care. Assist with appointments, billing, vaccination tracking and maintenance of patient records. Ensure that nursing practice standards and skill levels are maintained and enhanced in accordance with professional code of practice and accountability.

Clinical Duties: Attend to and assist with medical screening including audiometric testing, ECG, spirometry. Conduct diagnostic activities such as phlebotomy services in collaboration with medical practitioners. Assist medical practitioners with procedures, attend to post-operative wound care. Ensure safe use and maintenance of medical equipment, including safe disposal of medical waste. Follow sharps protocol, infection control and occupational health safety standards. Ensure stock control, storage and ordering of adequate supplies within allocated budget while liaising closely with the procurement department. Demonstrate proficiency in medical assessment skills.
