Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide IV infusion services on a contract basis at Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment. This position will support our expanding med spa services, delivering high-quality intravenous therapy treatments including vitamin infusions, hydration therapy, and other wellness-focused IV treatments to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer IV infusion therapies according to physician orders and established protocols
• Assess patients prior to treatment to ensure appropriateness and identify any contraindications
• Establish and maintain IV access using proper technique and infection control practices
• Monitor patients throughout infusion process and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and any incidents
• Educate patients on IV therapy benefits, potential side effects, and post-treatment care
• Maintain inventory of IV supplies and medications as needed
• Ensure compliance with all state nursing regulations and facility policies
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Puerto Rico
• Minimum 2 years of experience with IV therapy and venipuncture
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proven competency in peripheral IV insertion and management
• Strong knowledge of IV medications, compatibility, and potential complications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in med spa, wellness, or aesthetic medicine settings
• IV certification or additional training in infusion therapy
• Experience with vitamin infusions and wellness treatments

Schedule: Flexible, as-needed basis (typically [X] hours per week/days per month)

Compensation: Competitive hourly contract rate commensurate with experience

Pay: $31.18 - $37.55 per hour
