Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics The Pediatric Center – New Providence, NJ

Our state-of-the-art facility includes a CLIA-certified on-site laboratory for immediate diagnostic testing and screenings, and a provider is available to existing patients 24/7. Conveniently located in New Providence, NJ, The Pediatric Center is a well-established, privately owned pediatric practice that has proudly served the community for more than 20 years. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse (RN) position based in New Providence, NJ. The schedule includes a minimum of three full clinical days per week (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and two weekend morning shifts per month (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM).


The Registered Nurse will join a team that provides compassionate and comprehensive nursing care for pediatric and adolescent patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. 


Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients
  • Document patient symptoms, health history, and concerns accurately in the medical record
  • Administer vaccines and medications according to clinical protocols
  • Perform diagnostic testing and assist with treatments and procedures
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Ensure compliance with patient privacy standards and healthcare regulations

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
  • Experience with pediatric patient care, including vaccine administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Ability to independently perform diagnostic testing and treatments
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
  • Prior pediatric or adolescent care experience required
