Koch & Carlisle Plastic Surgery & Spa is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about patient care, aesthetics, and delivering exceptional experiences in a high-end medical practice.
The RN will assist physicians with consultations, procedures, and post-treatment care while ensuring the highest standards of safety, patient comfort, and clinical excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on aesthetic medicine, surgical care, and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document medical histories.
Assist physicians during cosmetic and medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
Provide pre- and post-procedure education and care instructions.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and clinical protocols.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Accurately document patient interactions and treatments in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse injectors, aestheticians, and patient coordinators to deliver exceptional care.
Support a positive patient experience from consultation through recovery.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Iowa.
Strong understanding of clinical protocols, patient assessment, and medical terminology.
Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics, or surgical settings preferred.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused medical environment.
