Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Yampa Valley Healthcare Center in Craig, CO. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients, including conducting assessments, creating care plans, and administering treatments. They will maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards. The nurse will also provide education to patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Proficient in patient assessment, care planning, and administering medications and treatments
• Knowledge of healthcare standards, patient safety protocols, and infection control practices
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse healthcare teams
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care and support to family members
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or critical care settings is a plus
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is an advantage
