We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and injections with precision, including IV infusions and medication management aligned with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments.
  • Conduct specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, ostomy care, tube feeding, and sterile processing while maintaining aseptic techniques.
  • Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions like pain management protocols and monitor patients in critical care units including ICU, PICU, or trauma centers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Lead triage assessments in urgent care or emergency room settings to prioritize patient needs swiftly and effectively while adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license with current registration in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in various clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU/trauma centers (Level I or II), outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced nursing skills including IV insertion/infusion therapy, phlebotomy, ventilator management, respiratory support techniques like airway management or neonatal ventilator use.
  • Familiarity with specialty areas such as cardiology (cardiac catheterization), nephrology (dialysis), infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition or medication administration; working effectively with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments such as trauma centers or emergency rooms while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
