Role Description:

This is a full-time position for an RN at The Melanoma And Skin Cancer Institute. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care within a medical oncology clinic, supporting patients across the continuum of cancer treatment. This role combines direct patient care in the infusion suite, clinical triage of patient inquiries, and provider support through scribing and care coordination. The RN ensures safe delivery of oncology therapies, timely response to patient needs, and accurate documentation to optimize provider efficiency and patient outcomes. While primarily based in the Denver Metropolitan Area, this role allows for some remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a diverse skill set to provide comprehensive medical services. The RN will be required to have completed the appropriate training and licensure required to practice in the capacity of an RN in the state of Colorado.

Qualifications:

• Unencumbered nursing license
• 2+ years of experience as an Oncology RN strongly preferred
• OCN Certification, must be completed within 6 months of hire date
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
• Phlebotomy proficiency, high peripheral IV insertion success rate

Duties:

• Support daily clinic operations, including but not limited to:
• Administering research medication
• Independent operation of infusion center
• Symptom management
• Medical scribing
• Adherence to regulatory and safety standards
• Supply chain management
• Pharmacy management
• Clinical trial management

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, one day work from home
• Day shift
