Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a flexible, independent environment. You will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, focusing on building trust, improving outcomes, and delivering high-quality clinical care.

This role is ideal for nurses who value purpose-driven work and are excited about contributing to a growing healthcare startup.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide skilled nursing care (wound care, IV therapy, etc.)
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Monitor patient progress and document accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams as needed
• Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and agency protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Experience

• Home health, hospice, or community-based nursing experience
• Experience with chronic disease management or geriatrics
• Familiarity with EMR (Kinnser)/documentation systems

Compensation

• Currently we are in our pro bono stage, so our patients are not billed through their insurance, but as a Registered Nurse under Ability Home Health Care Agency you will be paid for each visit.
• Strong potential for leadership roles and pay increase as the agency grows

Pay: $300.00 - $500.00 per month
