Position: Consultative Nurse (RN)
Department: Administration
Reports To: CCL Director
Pay: Starting at $34.75/hour (based on experience)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-Time, Remote & Flexible (Must reside in Delaware)
• On-call availability as needed
• On-site visits required based on medical needs and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Delaware
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical nursing experience
• Required: Experience working with DDDS (Delaware Division of Developmental Disabilities Services)
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Valid Delaware driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (travel required)
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements for CCL employees

Travel Requirements
Although this is a remote position, candidates must be willing to travel throughout Kent and Sussex Counties as needed for site visits, audits, and medical record reviews.

Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct audits of residential programs to ensure compliance with certification, licensure, and State/Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Submit monthly eChat documentation for all individuals
• Complete and submit Significant Medical Conditions reports, annual nursing assessments, and additional assessments within 30 days of the annual ELP meeting
• Perform monthly on-site medication and medical record reviews; document findings in Therap
• Verify physician orders for diet, medical equipment, and medications (including SMO/OTC) are current and properly documented
• Review immunization records during annual ELP meetings and notify management of any updates needed
• Ensure PRN medication orders include clear administration parameters for staff
• Conduct LLAM medication administration trainings as needed
• Serve as a liaison between individuals, support staff, and medical professionals to ensure clear and effective communication of medical information
