Registered Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients’ homes. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, independent, and committed to improving patient outcomes through personalized care and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intake for admission, discharge, transfer, comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and environmental needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings accurately
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and self-care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and agency policies
• Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska
• Minimum of1 year of nursing experience is preferred(home health experience preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for home health
• Wound care certification or experience

Pay: $41.00 - $57.00 per hour
