Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and assist with coding for accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Phlebotomize patients as necessary for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in Cerner or other electronic health record systems.
• Stay informed about workers compensation law to ensure compliance during patient care processes.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations in the ER, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.

Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment techniques and physical examinations.
• Knowledgeable in coding practices related to healthcare documentation.
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment, particularly within the ER setting.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Capability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
