Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care across various clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations, including those in acute care, long-term care, outpatient clinics, and community health environments. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and injections with precision, including IV infusions and botulinum toxin treatments, following strict aseptic techniques.
  • Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, tube feeding, and ventilator management across multiple specialties like ICU, emergency medicine, and surgical units.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for patients with chronic or acute conditions.
  • Provide specialized care for vulnerable populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care residents, pediatric and neonatal patients, and those requiring hospice or palliative medicine services.
  • Support infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy and safety at all times.

Skills

  • Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, critical care units (ICU/Level I & II Trauma Centers), emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology principles, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and laboratory test interpretation.
  • Skilled in performing advanced nursing procedures including phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, sterile processing techniques, and ostomy care.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient data and medical records management.
  • Ability to perform patient assessments involving airway management, pain management strategies such as acute pain control techniques, and trauma medicine protocols.
  • Experience with specialized treatments such as dialysis nursing, cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterization, sonography or medical imaging procedures like mammography or gastroscopy is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for triage assessments in urgent care settings or occupational health environments; capable of working with children or individuals with disabilities effectively.
