Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine current health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders, including injections, IV infusions, and medication management.
  • Monitor patient progress continuously, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures such as catheterization, suturing, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and wound care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, medication usage, post-discharge care plans, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
  • Skilled in performing aseptic techniques during invasive procedures such as catheterization or sterile processing tasks.
  • Experience working with specialized populations including patients requiring hospice & palliative medicine, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, long-term care/nursing home environments or assisted living facilities.
  • Ability to handle complex cases involving pain management, infectious disease care, occupational health issues like Workers’ Compensation law compliance, or post-acute care planning.
  • Competence in performing advanced nursing procedures such as tube feeding management, ventilator support monitoring, ostomy care or neonatal ventilator assistance when applicable. Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
