Registered Nurse - Adult Day Care

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care in various settings, including critical care transport, outpatient services, and home care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the health and well-being of our patients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide critical care transport services when necessary, ensuring safe transfer of patients.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as required for diagnostic testing.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team promptly.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and home care practices.
• Assist in emergency medicine situations, demonstrating quick decision-making skills.
• Work effectively in various environments including ICU settings, outpatient clinics, and medical offices.
• Engage with pediatric patients and their families to provide compassionate care tailored to children’s needs.
• Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed to support healthcare facilities in various locations.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in critical care transport or ICU preferred.
• Background in emergency medicine is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques is a plus.
• Experience working with children is beneficial for pediatric-focused roles.
• Familiarity with home care practices and medical office environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment procedures is a nice-to-have skill for specific roles.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
