Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse (All Specialities)to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing expert care across all specialties. Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions, immunizations, and specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and medical records management.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as cardiology (including catheterization), ophthalmology, infectious disease management, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, trauma medicine at Level I & II trauma centers, ICU/CCU/PICU units, and emergency room settings.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and basic medical imaging procedures like sonography or mammography when applicable.
- Support patients with complex needs such as wound suturing, ostomy care, tube feeding management, ventilator support, and aseptic techniques to ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, pain management strategies, and health coaching to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while ensuring accurate medical documentation and medical records upkeep.
- Assist with triage in urgent care or emergency settings to prioritize patient needs efficiently while providing compassionate support to individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing with current state requirements.
- Proven experience across multiple specialties such as critical care (ICU/CCU/PICU), hospital medicine, emergency medicine, outpatient clinics or long-term care facilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for documentation and order management.
- Strong knowledge of physiology principles relevant to patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
- Skilled in medication administration techniques including IV insertion/infusion and injection administration.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics (neonatal ventilator care), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), behavioral health patients or individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care delivery.
- Ability to perform physical examinations accurately while maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with critical thinking abilities to manage complex cases effectively in fast-paced environments such as trauma centers or emergency rooms.
