Registered Nurse – Extracorporeal / Blood-Based Procedures

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

We are seeking an experience Registered Nurse with strong experience in managing patients undergoing advanced blood-based therapeutic procedures requiring continuous monitoring and critical care competency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Patient Care & Clinical Responsibilities:

· Perform advanced extracorporeal and blood-based therapeutic procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and safety standards.
· Conduct comprehensive patient assessments prior to procedures, including vital signs, medical history review, and risk evaluation.
· Prepare and manage specialized life-support and blood circulation equipment safely and efficiently.
· Continuously monitor patients during procedures, identifying and responding promptly to hemodynamic instability or adverse reactions.
· Handle critical or emergency situations with confidence, ensuring immediate and appropriate intervention.
· Ensure strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, and patient safety standards.
· Provide pre- and post-procedure care, including patient education and follow-up instructions.

Technical & Clinical Expertise:

· Demonstrate strong knowledge of fluid balance, vascular access management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
· Maintain competency in managing patients requiring close clinical observation.
· Escalate complex clinical cases appropriately and collaborate effectively with physicians.

Patient Communication & Support:

· Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring reassurance and professional care.
· Educate patients about procedures, expected outcomes, and aftercare requirements.
· Address patient concerns with empathy and clinical confidence.

Documentation & Reporting:

· Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, including treatment parameters and patient responses.
· Record any adverse events and report findings to the supervising physician.
· Prepare required daily and monthly reports for management review.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

· Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
· Participate in case discussions and contribute clinical insights when required.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

· Adhere to DHA regulations and clinic policies.
· Maintain high standards of clinical hygiene, safety, and ethical practice.
· Participate in ongoing training to remain updated on advanced procedural techniques.
· Ensure strict compliance with patient confidentiality and documentation standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
· Valid DHA license.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in renal care, apheresis, critical care, or other extracorporeal blood-based treatment settings. (UAE experience preferred).
· Strong experience in managing patients undergoing intensive blood-related or extracorporeal procedures.
· Excellent understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and emergency response protocols.
· Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent communication and patient care skills.
· Ability to remain calm and decisive in critical situations.
