JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in a clerical position preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans is beneficial. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data entry systems such as an EHR. Ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail. Compassionate and patient. Knowledge of basic operations of standard medical equipment. Basic knowledge of diagnostic testing and organizational procedures.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Current KY RN licensure is required.

Current BLS training is required.

Functions as the first point of contact for patients to assist them in their medical care. Information from the caller will be obtained and documented in order to assist the caller in obtaining the appropriate level of care and/or self-care advice.
