Beverly Glenn, a respected recruiter for two of the largest hospice agencies in Southern California, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic teams. Our partner agencies are licensed, Medicare-certified, and CHAP accredited, delivering exceptional home health and hospice services throughout California.

Education & Licensing:

  • Must be a graduate from a nursing curriculum approved by a Board of Registered Nursing-approved program and hold a current, active RN license in the State of California.

Experience:

  • Possess a Experience in Nursing in a clinical setting—preferably in home health or hospice care.

Clinical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate excellent judgment and a thorough understanding of current nursing practices, supported by exemplary clinical, analytical, and documentation skills with minimal supervision.
  • Be self-directed and organized, with the physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain an active, valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable, insured automobile that complies with state and organizational requirements.
  • Be computer literate and willing to embrace technology that streamlines documentation and enhances team communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care:

  • Deliver nursing services in accordance with physician orders and individualized treatment plans. Observe and evaluate the effects of treatment and the patient’s physical/emotional responses, updating plans as needed.

Assessment & Planning:

  • Assess each patient’s rehabilitative status and develop, modify, and update treatment plans to ensure effective care.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

  • Regularly participate in interdisciplinary planning sessions, case conferences, and staff meetings to establish realistic and necessary care goals.
  • Contact physicians for clarifications or to discuss significant changes in patient conditions, offering recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Accurately document patient treatments and responses using established guidelines. Prepare progress notes and submit all required paperwork—including assessments, care plans, visit notes, medication records, progress summaries, and discharge summaries—within designated timeframes.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $124,081.00 per year
