Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN – ICU)

Location: Silverdale, WA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 12-hour shifts | 3 days per week
Pay Rate: $60 – $67 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN – ICU) to join our team in Silverdale, WA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and skilled care to critically ill patients, demonstrating clinical expertise, sound judgment, and strong communication in high-acuity settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, ventilators, and cardiac monitors
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed
• Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Washington
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems preferred

Schedule and Contract Details

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)
• Competitive pay between $60 and $67 per hour
