Pay Rate: $53 – $60 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (RN – Med Surg) to join our healthcare team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This role involves providing care to a diverse patient population with varying medical conditions, monitoring progress, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly to physicians and the care team
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the patient record
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, medications, and ongoing care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient recovery and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy hospital setting
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems preferred

Schedule and Contract Details

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)
• Competitive pay between $53 and $60 per hour
