Job Summary:

Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, a community-governed non-profit organization, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Med Surg to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg department. Our hospital is committed to keeping healthcare local and providing exceptional services to our community.

Responsibilities:

• Overnight 11:00PM - 7:00AM. 12 hour shifts.

• Provide patient-centered care to assigned patients, incorporating individualized plans of care and evidence-based practice

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians

• Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital performance

Requirements:

• AAS In Nursing required, BSN preferred.

• One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Med/Surg setting preferred

• Current registration with the New York State Board of Nursing

• BLS and ACLS current certification required
