Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)

• Work on a high acuity surgical trauma floor
• Care for patients with spinal/neuro trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
• Must be able to work assigned shifts (no block schedules)
• No time off (RTO) allowed during assignment
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record required
• Patient ratio: 5:1
• Support staff includes nursing techs, phlebotomists, and a night unit secretary
• ED nurse and admitting unit complete a nurse handoff for new admissions
