§ Ensures staff and financial resources are utilized appropriately and shifts resources to meet both patient and department needs within budget restraints.

§ Develops and communicates departmental plan and goals, ensuring employees are focused on priorities.

§ Ensures the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives to enhance clinical practice and professional growth.

People

§ Responsible for educating and training staff on different procedures and arranging induction/orientation programs for new joiners.

§ To develop and implement training courses and organize seminars to help educate and train new nurses and staff.

§ Responsible for attending conferences and representing Rainbow.

§ Tracking the attendance and leaves of the nurses.

§ To document the performance of nurses, perform evaluations and counsel nurses on unsatisfactory performance

§ Responsible for duty allotment of nurses according to the needs.

Customer

§ Resolves escalated, complex, or controversial operational and patient/family issues, making decisions that are inclusive of multiple perspectives and solves underlying problems

§ Communicate effectively with health team and other support services.

§ Coordinating with MOD’s for equipment arrangements in case of emergencies.

Operations

§ Responsible for documenting & submitting quality indicators for patient care.

§ Analyzing nurse patient ratio, managing duty roasters, providing daily nursing care plan for all patients and planning their OT’s.

§ Review of patient’s reports from admission to discharge before the report reaches to billing departments to avoid discrepancies.

§ Responsible for taking duty rounds and addressing the issues within NICU.

§ Arranging the equipment’s in case of shortage and monitoring and to check monitor, ventilator, and all lifesaving gadgets for proper working condition.

§ Taking care of critical babies and premature babies & arranging respiratory support and keep updating the consultant on baby condition.

§ Responsible for organizing meetings and updating the top management on NICU.

§ Responsible of receiving the patient from emergency room, OT, Labor room and treating them from admission till discharge.

§ Responsible for performing comprehensive assessment of the patient condition and documenting it and submitting it to respective consultant.

§ Responsible for monitoring/reviewing registers (equipment registers, Narcotic registers, transport incubator register & so on) on daily basis.

§ Assisting physicians during the examination of patients.

§ Preparation of medicine and administration of medications (oral, IV, IM, SC).

§ Maintaining record updating daily status of NICU to Nursing Head.

§ Responsible for preparing MIS report and auditing NICU reports and ensure proper documentation of all the patient records.

Educational Qualifications:

General Nursing with NICU certification.

Work Experience

§Females 1-3 years of experience in NICU.

§ High level of understanding in pediatrics critical care.

§ Excellent communication and leadership skills;

§ Great understanding of NICU department with its challenges.

§ Time management skills, multitasking skills and able to work under stress.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
