About the Role:

WCE Vascular Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient procedure lab. This role involves providing exceptional pre-, intra- and post-operative care to patients undergoing endovascular procedures. As an RN, you’ll play a critical role in supporting patient safety, comfort, and recovery while working alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity requiring a commitment of min 2 shifts per week. Shifts typically run approximately 10 hours (with occasional variations).

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Op Care: Prepare patients for procedures, including medical assessments, IV placements, and patient education.
  • Sedation Assistance: Administer and monitor moderate sedation during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Post-Op Recovery: Monitor and care for patients' post-procedure, managing recovery and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other team members to ensure seamless and efficient patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards in the procedure lab. Communicate changes in patient status promptly to physicians.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Active RN license in Nevada
  • Sedation experience necessary
  • Previous experience in cath lab, procedural or critical care setting preferred
  • Pre- and Post-Op Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the care team and patients
  • BLS & ACLS Certified or Certification before employment
  • Outpatient

Experience:

  • Cath lab/ Radiology Procedures: 1- 2 year (Preferred)
  • Critical Care: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
