Expanding AAAHC certified outpatient Endoscopy Center seeking positive minded Registered Nurses who can work diligently in a fast paced environment. This job is ideal for motivated Registered Nurses who anticipate the needs of the patients, coworkers and physicians. Ideal candidates should be familiar with multi tasking, maintaining a steady focus, anticipating the needs of the workplace, and willing to help patients and coworkers according to the policies and procedures regarding infection control, patient safety and company requirements.

The RN will be responsible for admitting patients prior to their procedure. Will review the patients medical history, medications, and start IV and document in EMR.

Post op duties will include airway management, assessing patients vital signs, reviewing discharge instructions with the patient, and assuring that patient meets discharge criteria and documentation in EMR.

Potential for training to become experienced in assisting Physicians and CRNA's in the procedure rooms. Includes assisting in applying monitors on patient, positioning patients, obtaining specimens and documentation in EMR.

No overnight call shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Essential Duties:

Commitment to the full workday until all assigned duties are complete.

Maintaining open lines of communication with DON/ Administrator, Charge Nurse and coworkers within the proper chain of command.

Always maintain a professional and courteous attitude.

Minimal Qualifications:

Current AZ License in good standing

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

ACLS certified

BLS certified

Desired Qualifications:

2 years Endoscopy Experience

Experience in an outpatient or hospital setting

Medical Specialty:

• Gastroenterology

Physical Setting:

• Outpatient

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RN (Required)
