Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Plastic Surgery)

Shift Type: PRN; as needed 8 to 16 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, providing support and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of surgical procedures and patient information
• Follow strict infection control and safety standards to prevent complications
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care instructions to patients and their families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after surgery

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license (RN) in the relevant state or country
• Proven experience in an operating room or surgical setting / 3 Years or more
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• BLS and ACLS certification (or equivalent) preferred
