Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse at Ibn Sina Medical Center is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) standards. The role includes supporting physicians during consultations and procedures, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across various specialties.
• Assist physicians during medical examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and patient safety.
• Monitor, record, and report patients’ symptoms, vital signs, and progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and preventive health practices.
• Ensure proper infection control, hygiene, and sterilization procedures are followed at all times.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for clinical use.
• Support health promotion and vaccination programs within the medical center.
• Participate in continuous professional development, nursing audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Comply with DOH regulations, Ibn Sina Medical Center policies, and ethical standards of nursing practice.
