Registered Nurse (RN)

We’re seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Gramercy Surgery Center team. The ideal candidate is steady under pressure, organized, and confident in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment. You take initiative, lead by example, and value accuracy, teamwork, and accountability in every aspect of patient care. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.

**Ideal candidate must be available to work one late afternoon or evening shift per week, with end times that vary, typically between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, consistent, and evidence-based nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Anticipate patient needs during recovery and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain composure while balancing multiple patient priorities
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing staff to coordinate care and set a professional example for teamwork
• Document all assessments, treatments, and progress with precision and timeliness
• Provide clear education and discharge instructions to patients and families

Qualifications:

• Current NY State Registered Nurse (RN) license – Required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (PACU, ER, or Critical Care preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications – Required
• PALS certification – Preferred
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Proven ability to follow established protocols and uphold safety standards
• Dependable, conscientious, and able to lead by example in maintaining compliance and professionalism
• Pediatric experience is a plus
