Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing practices. This role involves working in diverse settings, including acute care, home community care, and teaching hospitals. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages, with a focus on toddler care, trauma medicine, and pain management.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Provide support in various specialties including ophthalmology and acute care settings.
- Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed to support healthcare facilities.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or teaching hospital is preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma medicine and pain management techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience in home community care settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
