Summary of Responsibilities

We're seeking a caring, professional, and dependable Registered Nurse to provide direct care to a client in the comfort of their home. The nurse must have experience with catheters. Also must have a working knowledge of the Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers and GAPP Procedures. Responsibilities include:

o Ability to follow verbal and written instructions according to the PPOT

o Participate in the development and implementation of the service plan for clients receiving nursing services.

o Regularly assesses the needs of clients receiving nursing services

o Medication Administration Teaching

o Monitoring medication

o Regular assess the needs of the clients receiving nursing services

This position reports to the CEO.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, current Georgia RN license to practice nursing and render services in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act, O.C.G.A. 43-26-1 et seq. Working knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers Chapter 290-5-54. Knowledge of GAPP Procedures

o BLS Certified

o Clean Criminal Background Check

o Negative TB test

o Signed statement of history of no misconduct

Preferred qualifications for this role:

Ability to work independently, complete assessments and provide excellent customer service to clients. Demonstrated by:

• Experience working with medically fragile patients and home healthcare
• Excellent bedside manner
• Reliable personal transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours
• The client is located in the Midtown Atlanta area
