Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: New York, NY 10037
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:

• Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• 34.5 hours per week
• 3 shifts per week (11.5 hours per shift)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient conditions and assess vital signs, labs, and response to treatment
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as required
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU / Critical Care experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with:
  • Conscious Sedation
  • IV Insertion
  • Phlebotomy
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License
• License verification through NYSED

Certifications Required

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
