Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Night Shift (7:30 PM – 8:00 AM)
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: 34.5–37.5 hours/week (3 shifts/week, 11.5–12.5 hours per shift)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, including IV therapy and conscious sedation
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of ICU or Critical Care nursing experience
• At least 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
• Strong proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced settings

Education Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited institution

Certifications & Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
