Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN / 1099 Contractor Home Care Agency

A Caring Touch For Seniors is a well-established Georgia-based non-medical home care agency seeking a detail-oriented, engaged Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight and complete required supervisory visits and assessments. This is a PRN, 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and low volume at this time, with expected growth. Service areas include Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton, Cherokee, Gwinnett, Douglas, Rockdale and Paulding Counties.

This role is primarily field-based (travel to client homes) with limited remote work for weekly documentation review and meetings.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Assessments & Supervisory Visits

• Complete new client assessments (same-day or next-day when needed)
• Conduct 60-day supervisory visits
• Perform annual re-assessments
• Travel to client homes using your own vehicle

Clinical Oversight & Documentation

• Review and oversee client ADLs and caregiver documentation
• Ensure documentation aligns with approved care plans and agency standards
• Document clearly, accurately, and professionally
• Identify changes in condition, safety concerns, or care issues

Immediate Escalation of Concerns

• Promptly notify agency leadership of:
• Falls
• Incidents or injuries
• Significant changes in condition
• Safety risks
• Escalation of concerns is required immediately

Care Coordination & Collaboration

• Provide clinical recommendations when higher levels of care may be needed, including:
• Nursing homes
• Rehab facilities
• Physical Therapy (PT)
• Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Participate in regular communication and meetings with agency leadership regarding client care

Weekly Care Note Sign-Off (Remote)

• Review and sign off on weekly care documentation inside of software
• Sign-off is completed weekly for the previous week
• Performed remotely

Pay Structure

• $65 per new assessment / re-assessment
• $55 per 60-day supervisory visit
• $80–$100 weekly flat rate for care note sign-offs (remote)

Compensation is per visit and flat-rate only. No hourly pay.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Active Georgia RN license
• Current BLS and First Aid certification
• Negative TB (current)
• Ability to pass:
• Background check
• Drug screen (if applicable)
• Reliable transportation
• Tablet, laptop, or iPad with Wi-Fi
• Personal phone and internet service
• Comfortable using online software
• Highly detail-oriented, responsive, and professional
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
