Schedule: Nights – 3x12 Hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Location: Bricktown, New Jersey
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a Telemetry / Stroke unit setting. The RN is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and delivering high-quality nursing care based on individualized patient needs.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, telemetry competency, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Provide therapeutic nursing interventions
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and stroke-related symptoms
Manage care of telemetry and stroke patients
Document patient care in accordance with standards of practice and acuity
Prioritize patient needs based on assessment and clinical condition
Advocate for evidence-based practice standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Active New Jersey RN license or compact license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Telemetry Certification or successful completion of Telemetry Competency Exam
Stroke CEU – 4 Contact Hours
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prior Stroke Unit experience
Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required (major holidays as scheduled)
No on-call requirement
Occasional floating may occur; agency staff may float first if needed
