Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Shelter

A social service agency in New York is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff at one of their shelters in Manhattan, providing care in a modern, supportive environment for homeless individuals.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Homeless Shelters

Responsibilities:

• Participating in clinical meetings with staff
• Performing client intakes and connecting them to services
• Coordinating care for high-risk clients
• Medication management and prior authorization
• Overseeing LPNs and covering tasks as needed
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Solid assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience with Homeless populations
• Knowledge of eClinicalWorks EMR
• Experience in a Mental Healthcare setting
