Carient Heart and Vascular is a leading cardiovascular group of 16 Cardiologists, 3 Vascular Surgeons, and 15 mid-level providers in Northern Virginia. We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented and experienced Registered Nurse to join our patient focused team of professionals at our cardiovascular practice Angiography Suite in Vienna, VA.

HOLIDAYS: NONE (paid holidays)

SCHEDULE: 4 days/ week, 10 hour shifts

Duties

• Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy when necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding pre and post op care.
• Provide sedation for procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Assist in procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice preferred.
• Experience in conscious sedation.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
