We are seeking a patient-focused individual for a full-time Registered Nurse/Medical Assistant position in our Pulmonology Department at the Burlington Kernodle Clinic location. Previous experience is required. BLS through AHA is required. EPIC experience is a plus but not necessary. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service skills, computer proficiency, and a strong knowledge of medical practices. The ability to multitask effectively while creating a friendly, welcoming environment for our patients is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Duties Include, but not limited to the following:

Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs, weight, height and medical history
Room patients in a timely and professional manner
Assist provider with examinations and procedures
Administer injections, immunizations and medications as directed
Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG's and vision screenings with providers order and review
Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR EPIC system
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked and organized between patients
